It is not unheard of for a girl to where her mother's lace when it comes time for her own wedding, but modern brides are taking things to a whole new level. Take a look at this dress, for instance:

Jillian may have made the doilies herself, but there's no rule saying you can't up-cycle family linens or the handmade lace from your Italian grandmother's best party dress. Plus, a ton of designers have incorporated vintage-inspired piecework in this year's spring fashions. There are probably a thousand ways to add a little crochet chic to your big day.
